I am Dr. Andrew Dutta, a 5th-generation astrologer entrusted with a profound legacy in Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP System) and Vedic astrology. While my professional life as a respected Professor of Management allows me to train and consult with senior executives, my true calling is rooted in a family tradition that has been serving people since before I was born.
From a young age, I was immersed in the language of the cosmos. My first Guru was my mother, the eminent astrologer late Srimati Deblina. My training was further refined by two great Gurus, Jyotiryogi ji and late P.V.K. Punneswara Rao ji, who instilled in me the discipline and precision required to practice at the highest level.

A Legacy of Divine Astrology
My journey into the vast ocean of astrology began at a very early age, guided by my first Guru: my mother, the late Mrs. Ujjwala Dutta (Srimati Deblina). She was the one who carefully held my hands and brought me to the shores of this profound science. She not only taught me the foundational principles of Vedic astrology but also the esoteric secrets of remedial measures that have a miraculous effect on people’s lives.
I grew up observing and learning from her illustrious astrological practice in Kolkata, where she served countless clients with a compassionate heart.
My Guru Jis who mentored me
My second Guru, Jyotiryogi ji (Sri Pramod Ranjan Mohanto), was a blessing in my life. I was fortunate to be his only disciple. He groomed me in Vedic astrology, sharing over four and a half decades of his experiential knowledge. He taught me about powerful remedial measures through gemstones, following the time-honored methods advocated by the famous late Sadhan Bhai of Kolkata. Jyotiryogi ji’s magnanimity towards me is bigger than the seven seas; he built my character and showed me the path of Dharma that every true astrologer should follow.
My third Guru was one of the greatest legends in Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP System) astrology—the late Sri P.V.K. Punneswara Rao ji of Hyderabad. He practiced astrology for more than six decades, and I was honored to have personal, one-on-one training with him. Sri Rao ji selflessly shared his knowledge of the KP System and instilled in me the spirituality and positive virtues necessary for this profession. He was a direct student of late Sri V.B.N. Sarma ji, who himself learned directly from the inventor of the KP System, the great Guru late K.S. Krishnamurti.
My Gurus loved me like their own son and made me the honest astrologer I am today, committed to serving society. My mother brought me to the shores of the ocean of astrology, and my two Gurus taught me how to swim effortlessly in its vast and deep currents. This is the foundation of the guidance I offer you today—a synthesis of divine blessings, authentic tradition, and compassionate wisdom.

My approach to astrology is unique because it’s built on a foundation of rigorous academic research. I hold a PhD in Management, a distinction rarely found among astrologers. This training taught me to apply systematic research and statistical analysis to complex fields, and I have translated that expertise directly into my astrological practice.
As a visiting research scholar at Bentley University in Massachusetts, USA, and a fully tenured professor in Human Resources Management, I live in a world of data, research, and objective analysis. This background allows me to approach astrology not just as a spiritual art, but as a precise science. Therefore, it is this unique blend of intuition and analysis that helps me provide grounded, accurate, and insightful guidance.

Beyond academia, I have served as a corporate trainer and consultant for over 2,000 senior and middle-level managers. My expertise in leadership, team building, and conflict resolution allows me to understand human behavior on a deeper level. In addition, I have published over 25 scholarly and research papers in the fields of information systems and human resources management. On May 3rd, 2015, the Malaysian Astrological Society honored me with the prestigious title Sothida Mannan, which translates to “Emperor of Astrology.” For any KP astrologer, this is the greatest honor one can receive. In fact, the inventor of the KP system himself, the late K.S. Krishnamurty ji, was awarded this very same title by the same society back in 1970. I am incredibly humbled and proud to be the second Indian KP astrologer to receive this highly prestigious recognition, confirming the value of my work in the astrological community.
Recognized for Global Service
In recognition of my dedicated and extraordinary global service to the research, development, and propagation of astrology, the Universal Research Institute of Astro & Occult Sciences in Hyderabad awarded me the title Jyotishya Mahamahopadhyayaya. This is one of the highest and most prestigious astrological titles. I was just 38 years old when I received this honor, a testament to my commitment to advancing the entire field. This award validates the rigorous, research-based approach I bring to my practice every single day.

The Nostradamus Award
My commitment to accuracy also earned me one of India’s most prestigious astrological awards: the Nostradamus Award 2009. The Express Star Teller recognized my remarkably accurate political prediction. Many months before the 2009 General Assembly Elections in India, all political analysts and polls were predicting a different outcome. However, I wrote a scholarly article in the Express Star Teller, May 2009 issue, predicting that the Congress Party would return to power. This award stands as proof of my ability to provide insightful and reliable predictions, even when they go against popular opinion.
